I am ready to buy Arsenal at ‘whatever price’ — Dangote
Nigerian elite rich person Aliko Dangote demands that soon he will have 'enough time and enough assets' to purchase Arsenal football club, whatever the cost.
Dangote, 58, is Africa's wealthiest man having amassed a fortune in the district of $18.4 billion (£12.2 billion). He is at present the 67th wealthiest man on the planet.
He first talked about his enthusiasm for buying the Gunners a month ago when he conceded that 'one day' he wanted to purchase the club, including that he 'knew' his method to take them forward.
That day may arrive sooner than initially expected, with Dangote telling the BBC Tuesday that fruition of his proposed oil refinery in Nigeria will give the trusts important to dispatch a takeover of the club.
"When we get this refinery on track, I will have enough time and enough assets to pay what they are requesting," he told BBC Hausa.
"There were a few us why should surging purchase, and we thought with the costs then, the individuals who were keen on offering were attempting to go for a slaughter," Dangote proceeded.
"We backtracked, in light of the fact that we were exceptionally caught up with doing different things, particularly our industrialisation."
"They are doing great, yet they require another vital course," he included. "They require more bearing than the present circumstance, where they simply create players and offer them."
Stan Kroenke is Arsenal's lion's share shareholder, with the American owning 66.64% of the club's guardian organization, Arsenal Holdings plc.
