UNIOSUN lecturer in deep mess over sex video

A lecturer at the Department of Languages and Linguistics of the Osun State University, Ikire Campus, Dr. Wale Ojoniyi, is in a deep mess as you read this. Dr. Ojoniyi’s trouble started after a 30-minute video tape showing his alleged sexcapade with one Mercy Ikwue, a 400 level English student of the institution, Mercy Ikwue. Although a lot of people who have watched the video claimed the lecturer sexually molested the female student, the whole ‘show’ was recorded in a hotel and the sexual intercourse was not captured in the video. There was also no attempt by the man in the video to coerce of force the female student in question to cooperate with him. Share on Facebook Share on Twitter uniosun cover foto In a petition written to The Punch, some students of the university claimed that Ojoniyi was instrumental to the suspension of the female student, after she was allegedly caught for examination malpractices. On her return to the university after the one academic session rustication, the petition claimed the lecturer mounted pressure on the student for an amorous affair but the lady resisted him. PAY ATTENTION: Get all the latest gossips on NAIJ Gossip App It was further learnt that the lady confided in some persons, who advised her to set a trap for Dr Ojoniyi by agreeing to his love advances. She eventually went to the agreed hotel room and met him. In the video, which was also made available to The Punch, the female student set up a laptop directly opposite the bed and pretended to be watching the ‘Things Fall Apart’ film on it but she was recording the sexual activity. Although there was no act of sexual intercourse captured in the video, the man in the video was seen stark naked and caressing the student occasionally. In the video, Ikwue was seen throwing her blue top on the bed from an angle she knew the camera could not cover. She also ensured that the camera lense did not capture her when she removed her trousers. She wore her top throughout the 34-minute duration of the ‘show’ and used the bed-sheet as a wrapper. The man came to the bed naked not knowing the kind of trap set for him and dangled his manhood throughout the show. The audio quality of the video clip was poor but some of the conversations can still be heard. The female student said at one point: “Give me my transport. I am not asking for any other money, just give me my transport fare. Why is your thing (private part) dropping like this, haven’t you done it in recent time. Before I went on suspension, why didn’t you plead on my behalf? You knew about it joo.” Ojoniyi when asked by our correspondent if he was aware of the video said he had heard of it. He said: “I also heard of the video. It is being investigated.” Asked if he believed that the video was a handiwork of those who might want to bring him down, he said: “ People can do anything, but I cannot be brought down.” Hehe! Nawa oh.

DELSU Lecturer Sex Scandal 'He said he will fail me if I did not have sex with him' - Student reveals

The National Female Students Association of Nigeria has urged the National Assembly to expedite action in passing the sexual harassment bill currently waiting to pass through third reading in the Senate. The National President of the Association, Comr. Idongesit Micah stated this position in Asaba, Delta State yesterday, August 10, when she visited the State Police command Headquarters on a fact-finding mission over the well-reported case where a lecturer was caught naked trying to sleep with a Delta State University female student, Miss Esther Omokinovo at Wembley Hotel. The victim had earlier informed the National President that the randy lecturer has been harassing her sexually and has been threatening to fail her if she refused to comply to his sexual desires hence she decided to inform the police that she has accepted the demand of the lecturer and invited the police to the hotel room. ALSO READ: Lecturer caught pants down in hotel The fiery student's activist expressed her dissatisfaction with the delay in apprehending the suspect before a competent court of Justice. She also hinted of the group's intention to petition the Inspector General of Police to take over investigation of the matter. saying, "our attorneys has been briefed accordingly". In that same vein, the umbrella body of all female student groups in the country has strongly urged the National Assembly to expedite the legislative processes left in the passage of the pending Sexual Harassment Prohibition bill which has become neccesary due to the important role it will play in serving victims from the humiliation and inhumane treatment being meted on female Students by randy lecturers, adding that, "this event has vindicated our position at the public hearing of the bill recently, a position which of course was stoutly opposed by ASUU". Micah stressed that the present legal lacuna is only benefiting randy lecturers who may still be set free after police investigations even when found guilty as there is no relevant laws for now to punish offenders of sexual harassment, especially of female students. The NFSAN President further stated that their Association has drawn the attention of ASUU National President, Prof. Biodun Ogunyemi to the matter, reminding the larger society of ASUU's earlier position during the public hearing on the Bill for an Act to Prohibit Sexual harassment that it has not been receiving reports of sexual harassment being committed by its members.

Fulani herdsmen to get cattle ranch in Ekiti

– Fulani herdsmen are expected to get cattle ranches in Ekiti – This comes after the state debated on the measures to take to protect farmers – Herdsmen with guns will be prosecuted when caught The Ekiti state government has agreed to build ranches for Fulani herdsmen in the state following an extensive discussion on the issue. Governor Ayodele Fayose had ordered herdsmen out of the state following an attack in some communities reportedly carried out by some herdsmen. READ ALSO: SSA to Buhari gives solution to Fulani herdsmen crisis Vanguard reports that the decision to build the ranches was made known by Hon. Gboyega Aribisogan during a public hearing organized by the joint committees on agriculture and environment on a bill to regulate and control cattle grazing in Ekiti State house of assembly on Wednesday, August 10. Rt. Hon Adewumi Olusegun who is the chairman of the committee recalled how they were terrorised by the activities of herdsmen. He noted that the bill was the first of its kind in the country and expressed optimism that it would help in protecting the lives of Ekiti people. Oba Oyebade Oladapo who is the chairman of Ekiti State Council of Obas and Ologotun of Ogotun Ekiti applauded the Ekiti state government for the bill and recalled that residents had to endure attacks perpetuated by herdsmen in the past. Oba Adebayo Emmanuel who is also a traditional ruler called for the creation of ranches for cattle rearers in the state and also urged the government to make available irrigation facilities for farmers in the state. Engr. E. Abegunde who is the permanent secretary of the agriculture ministry explained that the problem was not peculiar to the state alone but West Africa. He described how farmers developed problems when they realise that their crops had been destroyed by herdsmen. He said he wrote to traditional rulers in the north and to the inspector general of police but got no result. “There is justification for this action, cattle rearing should be seen as private business such as snail rearing, piggery, poultry and so on, modern technology should be adopted in the business, they should be confined in ranches, the energy the cattles dissipates in transit is converted to added weight which is an added advantage to the rearers.” Barr. Umar Imam who represented the herdsmen agreed that the state needed to control the activities of herdsmen but had reservations concerning some parts of the bill. He said herdsmen needed knives in their activities but said anyone caught with guns should be prosecuted. Zaiyanu Muhammed who is the secretary of the Miyetti Allah Cattle Breeders Association in Ekiti claimed the killer herdsmen were not indigenous to the region but were from Niger. He suggested that the only solution to the problem is the creation of a vigilante group which will comprise the DSS, Police, NSCDC, Immigration, Fulani Bororo, Fulani Ilorin to curb the excesses of those in transit.

watch video here:::::::Donald Trump calls Obama 'founder of ISIS'

watch video
(CNN)Donald Trump on Wednesday repeatedly called President Barack Obama the "founder" of ISIS and labeled Hillary Clinton the "co-founder." At a rally in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, Trump also said that ISIS "honors" Obama -- who the GOP nominee referred to as "Barack Hussein Obama." After lamenting the "mistake" the US made by going to war in Iraq -- a conflict he repeatedly says that he opposed, despite evidence to the contrary -- Trump then criticized Obama's attempts to "clean up." "Normally you want to clean up; he made a bigger mess out of it. He made such a mess. And then you had Hillary with Libya, so sad," Trump said. "In fact, in many respects, you know they honor president Obama. ISIS is honoring President Obama. He is the founder of ISIS. He's the founder of ISIS, OK? He's the founder. He founded ISIS." He then said that the "co-founder" of ISIS was Clinton. Did Obama underplay ISIS' influence? Disgraced ex-congressman sits behind Trump at rally Disgraced ex-congressman sits behind Trump at rally 01:28 Critics say Obama has played down the terror threat and, while still on a victory lap after the killing of Osama bin Laden, failed to anticipate the rise of ISIS. Trump later called Obama by his full name, "Barack Hussein Obama," in a jab at his handling of the Russian involvement in Crimea. Conservatives opponents of the Obama administration have used the president's middle name to highlight what they see as Muslim sympathies and Trump had for a long time claimed Obama was not born in the US. In fact, Obama is a Christian who was born in the US. Following June's horrific nightclub shooting in Orlando, Trump had suggested that Obama had an ulterior motive. "We're led by a man who is very -- look, we're led by a man that either is not tough, not smart, or he's got something else in mind. And the something else in mind, you know, people can't believe it," Trump said on Fox News' "Fox and Friends." "People cannot believe, they cannot believe that President Obama is acting the way he acts and he can't even mention the words 'radical Islamic terrorism.' There's something going on. It's inconceivable. There's something going on." Obama has previously responded: "Calling a threat by a different name doesn't make it go away."

Ex-President formed ND Avengers before 2015 elections

The RNDA also said that Jonathan chose the name “Avengers” and is the group’s Grand Patron. The group also threatened to reveal more about the alleged relationship between the former president and the NDA. The comments were contained in a statement released by RNDA spokesperson, Cynthia Whyte and obtained by Sahara Reporters. The statement reads in part: “The Special Adviser to the President on Niger Delta, Mr. Kingsley Kuku, and Mr. Gordon Obuah, the Chief Security Officer to President Jonathan, respectively were selected to visit Charles Okah in Kuje prison. “Mr. Daniel Alabrah was given the assignment to draft an endorsement statement for Charles Okah to go through and pass on to MEND. According to the account, both men reported back that they had visited Okah in Kuje prison at night with the promise of his release along with others should he cooperate to get MEND to endorse Jonathan. “It therefore came as a shock when MEND did the opposite and endorsed Buhari. Jonathan was livid with anger and swore that the Okahs would rot in prison.” “It was around that period the idea of forming the Niger Delta Avengers was conceived. In fact, the name ‘Avengers’ came from the lips of Goodluck Jonathan. “As Election Day approached, certain stakeholders were mobilised to form a force to standby and ensure total anarchy in the South-South and the South-East within 24 hours if the election results were not favourable to Jonathan. “It took everyone by surprise to learn that Mr. Jonathan had conceded defeat even before the final results were released. The standby force that was supposed to attack specific targets was told to stand down. They were all compensated in US dollars cash.” MEND endorsed Buhari for the Presidency on Tuesday, January 6, 2015 via a statement released by its spokesperson, Jomo Gbomo. “The Movement for the Emancipation of the Niger Delta (MEND), upon careful consideration of the state of the nation, endorses and fully supports the presidential candidate of the All Progressive Congress (APC), Muhammadu Buhari,” the statement had read. “Our decision to throw our full support on Gen. Mohammadu Buhari stems from the pathetic state in which the country has been put by the government of Goodluck Jonathan and our strong believe in Buhari as the man and change the country needs. President Goodluck Jonathan does not deserve a second more in the Presidency as soon as his tenure expires as he has continuously and blatantly disregarded the very people who voted him into office,” it added. The RNDA’s allegations are reminiscent of accusations made by former president, Olusegun Obasanjo who said that Jonathan was training snipers in preparation for the 2015 elections. Obasanjo made the allegations via an 18-page letter written to Jonathan in December 2013.He also accused Jonathan of putting 1000 political opponents on a watch list. Jonathan swiftly denied Obasanjo's accusations and has also denied sponsoring the Niger Delta Avengers.
